Idea 1: Final Group Formation

 

-Introduction

The three people I have chosen to make a film with for component one, have amazing chemistry. All four of us, where able to bounce ideas from each other and give each other roles that we want together. It worked out well because we all agree and wanted to be those roles, with this excitement and passion we have together. With my team being consist of Tatiana M, Sofia A, and Matthew G, I honestly think we will make a great film. With our film being related to the feeling of being watch by someone, the name of Clairvoyant Productions ​came to mind. We all agree about that name because of that connotation of being watch over by someone you can't see. 

 With this class being about media, before we chose our genre. We talked about the genres we like to consume. Personally, for me I like romance, thriller, and fantasy. With those genres there tend to be themes that come with it. For intense with thriller the themes that go with that genre tend to be a person in danger. Danger can be many things, like a danger to yourself, others, or someone coming after you. In addition to this theme, my favorite movie the black swan has it. In the movie there a woman who is a ballerina, and its passion with the art of the dance. Her company is doing the production of sawn lack, and her being an excellent dancer she is the swan. Her company director decides to replace her with another ballerina. With that change, it causes her to go through this path of obsession and wanting to be the best to get her spot back of being the swan, black and white. The producer of the movie use mise en scene to convey change, when the character Nia trying to be the black swan her alter the darker version of her wears dark color. Especially black, for example her out fits are black, her make up is also black with browns, and her acting streams confidence. By how she walks, act, and look. When the camera is on her it only focuses on the darker version of Nia, and later on the movie she comparison and her alter have comparisons by the colors they wear. This led to what I learn from it, that to show change you need to do costumes and change in behavior. With this being my favorite movie, my group members did not have the same taste. One of my members said that they did not really watch movies, while the other had the same taste as me, and the third one like mystery movies. 

-Reflection

My group strength is that we are able to split up work and communicate, but one thing to improve on is our time management. Because we do the work but not on time, and we really need to hound on that. We collaborate through message, so if someone can't be available, we can catch them up on work and assignments. We talk about how we split the work up to manage our other responsibility. When we are in class after our teach finish her lesson, we catch up on past work or help each other, and other school we talk through messages.
