Fade In:
Library-that night
In the corner of the library, a teenage girl is reading a book then a librarian comes to screen.
Violet, A young Hispanic girl in her late teens and she’s in her own world
Librarian, an older woman who have worked in the school library for years.
Librarian
Um Excuse me miss; the library is closing.
(Violet looks up to Librarian, and nod. She begins) to pack up
Librarian
Have a good weekend.
(Librarian leaves the scene)
Violet
(She leaves the library and puts back her headphones.)
Music plays:
*Outside of the library
Stalker, age/gender unknown but deeply obsessive over Violet
Stalker
(watches Violet her leaves and follow her.) *Library scene ends
*Outside
Violet
(She walks home, while music plays from her headphones)
Stalker
(Stalker watches her from behind, and walks.)
Violet
(Walk up to the front door of her house, and sigh.)
*Inside the house
Violet
Walks in. Mom, dad!
No responds
Violet
(Walk to her room and sit at her Vanity mirror. To look at herself)
Violet
(She touches her lips, hair, and noise. She frowns), I wish I could be pretty.
VIOLET
(She pulls her personal journal from her bag and writes.)
Violet
Today was just like any other day, uneventful. I watch everyone around me talk to their friends, while I look at them like a freak... But I can’t believe that I stayed in the library that long, I’m too in my head at times.
Voice over:
Stalker
(Look at her through the window.)
Violet
(She lies on her bed, with music blasting in her ears.)
Music plays:
Violet
(Hears a knock on the door and startles her.) Mom, dad?
Violet
She walks out of her room, and towards the front door.
*Outside
Violet
(She opens the door and sees a note on the ground. Then picks it up and looks around.)
Violet
(She reads it and finishes it with wide eyes.)
My dear Violet,
I have loved you from afar, always looking, always yearning, and always wishing. So now my dear, I will have you.
(She looks around in a hurry to look for someone.)
